Special Event Permitting

The Town of Ault and Ault Municipal Code requires the issuance of a permit for events occurring on public spaces. The Ault Police Department is the main point-of-contact for the issuance of these permits. Please review the Application Instructions well before the date of your event. The application process has dates and deadlines that need to be met. Only complete applications will be accepted.

Victim Assistance

The Ault Police Department, in cooperation with the Greeley Police Department provides aid to innocent persons who suffer physical, emotional or financial loss as a result of a crime or non-criminal stark misfortune. The unit is staffed by full-time, part-time, and highly trained volunteer advocates. Advocates serve the community by providing a comprehensive victim-centered approach through on-scene crisis response and follow-up services.

What happens at a car seat check?

Certified technicians will examine your car seat, and your vehicle to determine the correct placement and restraint type for the safest ride. Technicians will spend time educating you on important safe ride rules. No car seat is the same and they all come with different requirements. It can be overwhelming and confusing. That’s why we’re here.

The Ault Police Department provides the following services to the citizens of Ault and Pierce. Please note that fees may apply for these services. Any fee payments must be cash, check or credit/debit card.

VIN Verifications

VIN verifications are completed by the patrol division. A fee of $20.00 must be paid at the Ault Police Department PRIOR to an Officer completing the verification. Please make sure you have the current title or registration for the vehicle AND the VIN number is clearly visible.
